My name is Evan Williams, I am the owner and CEO of Kareless. I started the brand back in 2012 just working with JDM cars and over the years expanded into many other forms of extreme sports. Located in Fort Worth Texas we travel all over doing events such as FORMULA Drift, Xgames, all the way to festivals and music events. Indoor… outdoor… we do it all!

I had high aspirations to professionally be involved with extreme-style sporting events and I felt like there was a gap in the market for a true brand that represents people involved on a grassroots level. The real passion at the entry-level of these sports is truly motivating! Pure enthusiasm!
When I first started the brand I was just hoping to start growing our online sales and hoped to hit more events. Which we have thankfully accomplished so now my goal would be to grow our in-house manufacturing so we can start doing more diverse custom products. In turn, keeping us more on top of current trends and styles that fit our target demographic.
Growing on a budget has always been an issue. Starting Kareless from the ground and trying to put our cash flow into the right projects/ideas has always been a battle. We try to do different creative things but also need to be aware of our operating costs. For example, we did the Red Bull soapbox, a super fun event and it was an honour to drive it but from a cost perspective that can take away money from other projects or even delay us from making more progress on certain in-house things.
I’ve been super lucky to travel as much as I have and hang out with people I love while doing it. I’ve been all over the country countless times and got to ride and drive amazing race cars, go to some of the coolest events, and hang out with really awesome influential people that have taught me a lot over the years. So many cool memories! Ultimately my biggest paycheck would be the experiences this career has allowed me.
100%!! I have been super lucky to have amazing support from my family and close friends. Without them, I would have gone absolutely crazy years ago. I’m learning every day from the people around me and that’s what keeps the brand growing along with maintaining our current projects. One brick at a time.

Currently, we have mastered a full apparel line, offering everything from hats, hoodies shirts, and we’ve even dabbled in some activewear pants. As for new products we have considered making hard parts for cars and or motorcycles, doing that would allow our merchandise to be listed in the large-scale distribution of catalogues that certain stores shop from to put our products in front of hundreds of thousands of new people.
Kareless = the limitless freedom to enjoy every unique aspect of life! Life is too short to do it otherwise.
Surrounding yourself with positive people is so crucial. Negativity breeds more negativity. And being an entrepreneur can be full of hard moments/ decisions. So being in good company is the only way to survive the storms!

Life is ultimately too short! And with that, we need to focus on the things in life that bring us value. So kareless means so much more to me than apparel, it’s the mindset that I will embrace every day and do whatever unique activities catch my eye. We just get to express that through comfortable quality gear!
