Hi my name is Jean-PierreMomplé. I am the Owner of the Jtechmods workshop. Car Wash Supreme and I'm a DJ. My older brother had a friend with a modified Toyota Avante and he took us to Wingfield, which had an abandoned airstrip that was used as a drag strip back in 1995.

What car do you drive and why this car?

I currently have a B8.5 Audi S5 and 8P S3 Sportback. I love Audi and these were in my price range at the time, I also like owning and modifying cars that aren’t common. The appeal of the S5 was the 2 door coupe look, along with the supercharged motor which was almost unheard of to modify in South Africa.

What do you think makes your car unique?

The color of the wrap, air suspension, and the supercharger whine. It still feels unreal and it's kinda hard to believe but that supercharger whine is hard to beat.

Who did the work?

We have carried out all the work on the engine and suspension, the only thing we outsourced was the wrap and that was carried out by Wrapmodz.

Any advice?

If you are interested in purchasing an Audi S5 obviously find one that has been taken care of and before doing any modifications, do all the preventative maintenance and this car will last a lifetime. For modifying tips I would search 034motorsport’s website, and add everything they sell for this car, in your cart. You will not be sorry.

Future Plans

Not really, we’re almost done with this project, as soon as we reach 10.99 seconds per quarter mile, we’ll sell to upgrade to our next project.

Groups/Club

The only crew we’re part of is our @Jtechmods crew/family. 

The car scene has most definitely made me new friends, new contacts, business connections, and a place I feel I can be myself and belong, this is what's so good about the community we are all part of, mostly everyone is willing to help each other even complete strangers who become the best of friends and all because of our cars.

Dream Car

Ironically I don’t, If I was forced to answer, I’d probably choose any of the newer Lamborghinis
