I am 33 and work Full Time for a non-profit behavioural/mental health agency in Vernon, CT. I am from Coventry, CT USA, Married to Joshua Alexander. I went to Becker College and have a BA in Graphic Design/Photography. 

For as long as I can remember I have always been into cars. I grew up around cars and my dad was a huge factor in that. My dad always had a cool car and we would cruise around and work on cars or trucks together when I was old enough. I was always around the guys, around cars, I would rather buy car parts and be in the garage then buy shoes or go shopping. I met my now husband through cars. At the time we both had Subaru’s and met at a meet, that was 12 years ago. At the time I had a Subaru 2.5rs that was modified. Had that car for at least 4 years and I was in a car accident and it got totalled.

The replacement was the car I have today, my 2002 Subaru WRX. Ever since we met he has been my rock, my supporter, and we built my Subaru together into what it is to this day. He has taken my dreams and visions and helped produce them into a reality. Josh is in every part of the build as I am. It is not the easiest being a female in this industry, we have to work that much harder to be taken seriously. Working 3 jobs at one point to build this car, long nights in the garage to get the car ready for an event. It is all worth it in the end.

The car that I drive today and what my whole life revolves around is my 2002 Subaru WRX. I bought it with the fact that it was AWD, I loved Subaru and it was my daily. It is no longer my daily and strictly my fun show car. It is purpose-built and right now it is built to be flashy, and stand out at every event we attend. I have been in the car scene now for 11 years. I have always been very involved in hosting and promoting events.

"I recently brought back my Lifestyle brand and Crew Fuel to Inspire. The meaning behind it is just that to inspire, to be a role model to anyone that thinks they can't do it, to anyone that has doubts. Anything is possible, it is all in how much you want it. How much work are you willing to put into your dreams and goals? This Brand and Crew are just that. We host events and attend events as well. Make sure to follow me on all social media and I am always open to receiving messages! It was that one message I received from someone that is now a friend, telling me I "inspired" her to attend her first car show. That is what it is all about. 

My car is well known around the states and is a Best In Show winner, and is nationally known. We travel all over for events including Canada, and all over the east coast.  Drive this car it takes me to another world. No matter my mood, or feeling down, I get in my car and just drive and all go away. Driving this car near and far to events is anything but normal, just getting the drivers passing by to take pictures, videos or just a simple thumb up is what I built this car for, for my enjoyment and to see the smiles on others' faces, makes my day. 

We built my car with the vision of wanting to be unique, to stand out and to be different. My 2002 WRX is my vision, it is a part of me. This car is a reflection of me and my personality. We built this car with the intention of standing out and building it to our standards and not everyone else’s satisfaction. To us this is more than a car, to us, this is our dream, our passion, our vision that my husband and I did together in our garage. This car is a part of us both, many years, hours, blood, sweat, and tears make up this build and we can say it is something WE built.

This car has more meaning to us and because of that, it is unique in its own way and definitely draws a crowd at all the events we attend. The only thing on this car that we did not build ourselves is the paint and moulded wide body (yes it is paint!) We have to give credit to our good Friend Gabe for the amazing custom paint job, and our friends at Ground Zero Performance for taking the time to mould the body kit. We are always thinking about how to make it stand out that much more and always looking to the future, we do have future plans for this car just to name a few, RWD swap, and motor swap. My dream is to one day have my car on display at SEMA. 

My dream car would have to be the Nissan GTR R34. It has always been my dream car and I have always wanted to own one. I will own one and it is a goal of mine. Great things come to those who wait and work hard. Anything is possible if you put your mind to it, commitment, determination, and passion.
