My name is Douglas Pratt, I’m 28 years old and live in Northern California “Solano County”, Growing up I spent a lot of time with my uncle who loved cars and NASCAR! I remember all the little car events he took me to and I always had a great time going to those car shows and meets. My passion for cars came from my uncle’s influence.
I have to give my uncle the credit, He exposed me to the car scene and ever since I hit that first show it was on from there. I just wanted to be a part of the car community, and the amount of support I had from the beginning with my build from everyone in the community was amazing! I chose the CLA45AMG because it’s rare you see them anywhere where I’m from. And when you do see them their stock. So I took it a step further and decided that I’d get one…. make it quick and widebody it!
It’s hard to put into words the feeling of owning and driving my car. When I need to get things off my mind my car is my only escape. It not only puts a smile on my face but everyone else’s when they drive past me on the roads…. And seeing those smiles makes it even more worth it!

What makes my car unique you may ask, Everything from the custom widebody to the wheels, you don’t see many modded CLAs on the roads, especially like mine. That's one of the main reasons I went with the Cla45amg. I wanted to be different and I believe that’s what makes my car Unique.

Future Plans:
I plan on going 600awhp with the W.4 Weistec turbo upgrade package with a built transmission. That or an engine swap to be even crazier. In addition, I have a vented carbon hood on the way and a carbon fibre spoiler ready to be installed. We are also throwing under glow on the car through the shop I work for @madd_wrapps. On top of rewrapping the car every few months just to stay relevant in the car community, it never ends when building a car! Will also be doing an e85 tune and carbon work under the hood
Advice/Tips
The only advice I can give others is to do what you love! Don’t build your car hoping to make others happy, Do it to make yourself happy. I think that’s the problem with the car community these days people are building cars based on other people's opinions and not their own. If what your doing puts a smile on your face that’s all that matters at the end of the day!
