I'm originally from Mexico. Mexican Mom / Japanese Father 43 Years old, Food truck Owner and Operator. Just like any other kid, my car passion started with diecast cars. I loved the fantasy and racing line. Friends used to gather after school to race our little cars on the sidewalk for hours. Eventually, cars got bigger but passion remained the same.

Not going to lie, I saw one online and I think everyone saw that pic. The grey one with a photographer crouched in front of it. The truck was so clean, beautifully done with tasteful mods, and perfectly lowered I just knew I had to have one. Saved for a long time to build a Hakosuka but for some reason, there was always something that prevented it, ended up selling it and used the money to make this dream happen.
I have had more cars than a dog has fleas! I started driving at a very young age. The first car I remember was a really beaten up ‘85 Chevy Nova, ‘90s Cavalier until I bought a ‘93 Civic Coupe in the early 2000s right before the Fast and Furious franchise. That's the first car I ever modified, body kit, paint, wheels and the typical two-tone vinyl interior to match the outside.

This car makes me very happy, Parked or on the road but if you see me driving it you will notice a never-ending smile. At shows it gets lots of attention and people seem to like it a lot since we get nothing but compliments. I say we because it has been a team build between my daughter and myself, truck keeps getting mods because I love spending time with my kid.
I love talking to people thinking of getting or building a Hakotora. I believe one of the first things we all do when buying a car is ... adding wheels ... I would recommend everyone modify the front wheel wells to avoid rubbing and proper turning.

The Work
All the work has been done in the backyard by my Daughter and me with the help of family and friends. Big shout out to my friend Michi Ogura from @09Racing for being the first sponsor I ever had.
Future Plans
For now, I think I’m ok with how it looks and performs, this is the one car I will never sell or get rid of, I would be lying if I told you that I’m done with it. Perhaps I will change the livery again and build a full cage and get it drift-worthy.
The Scene
I have received massive support from the Ae86 community, specifically Club4age. The car scene made me realize that I was capable enough to build my own dreams, it opened my eyes to a whole new world,I really just put in the world and let the outcome happen.
