My guys from Clean Culture and Import Expo return to the Queen City, which is known to be Charlotte, North Carolina. This time setting up a super ultra-car show packed with drifting and show cars at the infamous Charlotte Motor Speedway.
The event was another classic spectacular with food trucks on site, Charlotte Motor Speedway to help with the traffic flow and parking, and did I mention drifting already? Oh yes, you were able to register your drift machine to sling it around the custom drift paddock on the track. Ride-alongs were offered, a burnout contest, 2step competition as well. Drifting was by Catch My Drift LLC
Heavy hitter vendors were out at the event. Cardrugs.com, Team Tensei, Fitted. Car teams that came out to play or simply compete were Team RPM, Chozen, Devoted, and Team Tensei to name a few. Nou Lee (Team Tensei) came out swinging with his new Chevrolet Corvette C8 fitted with the Pandem body, and Rohana Wheels that also have custom carbon fiber lips.
Over at Team RPM, I absolutely love Dario’s Nissan Skyline GT-R R33. “The Boat” formally nicknamed, is one of my favorite variant R Heritage Skylines from Nissan. Bowie Tran, always coming hard with his second generation widebodied Lexus IS350. TOMS rear diffuser, Clinched kitted, Work Wheels. It is really an eye-catching car.
Over at the Fitted booth, I spotted this magnificent-looking two-door BMW 328ic (E36). Love the fitment, and the wrap done by Camel City Wraps. At the event, I spotted a BMW M4 Competition in Brooklyn Grey. The United States' first G82 chassis on air suspension by, Rod Speed. This BMW was truly remarkable to look at with it sitting flat on the floor
Car shows will always be for competition and fun despite the storm playing an effect to cut the show relatively short. Everyone was having a great time relaxing, watching cars drift around the paddock, and enjoying the delicious food truck food. With the rise and demand for EV to be driven by all in the states, I think it is important that we continue to take care of our beloved internal combustion engines (ICE).
It is important that we continue to support the aftermarket and tuning companies from all over the world. It is important that when you build a car, have a vision for the build and have a blast showing it to the masses that you want to show.
We as automotive gear heads, grease monkeys, racers, builders, and enthusiasts alike must continue the tradition and passion of enjoying these gas-powered machines. Thank to our friends Nick Terzo, Carmelo Colon, and Brett Zheng for putting on another classic show and event here in North Carolina.
