My family has always been into cars and bikes. I guessed the cars rubbed off growing up as our family members climbed their careers being lucky enough to have Audis and Mercedes, thinking one day I would love to own one myself.

My first car was a Mitsubishi Carisma which had been sat on the drive and gone from white to yellow/green with tree sap. I remember asking the family how to get it back white and T cutting it, then applying light strips and it grew from there. My second car was a Mazda 6 Sport to eventually a Mercedes 200 in Blue, I felt really proud and lucky to finally own my own Mercedes. I was torn between a Merc or an Audi, another favourite of mine test driving the Audi A3.

I then took the plunge and bought the Mercedes A35 AMG. It is on a whole new level with its technology, and for an A-class pretty impressive sitting you back in your seat and the power having many different settings to drive in but most importantly the pops and bangs that get louder the more the car is bedded in.

It has a mean look and is very stylish. The yellow really stands out with the black which is a real head-turner. This car might not be everyone's cup of tea but I am super proud and privileged to own one. I have a few modifications in mind I hope to pursue over the coming year so feel free to follow me.
