Hi, all so I'm Simon.

I'm 29 and I'm a cobbler by trade

Instagram is @scoobiewrxdoo.

I first got into the car scene through a friend when I got my first car which was a ford focus lx. I then got a mk4 golf gti 1.8t which I loved but it wasn't modified so I used to park it around the corner at car meets then walk around lol.

Then after a year I got my Subaru Impreza Hawkeye which I have now had for just over 3 years, it is truly the best car I have had and now it gets lots of attention and I don't have to hide it around the corner at car meets. It started out as a standard Subaru with 226hp but within the 3 years she has gone over a massive makeover with

  • wider arches,
  • a sti spoiler with Perrin wing stiffies,
  • a full lip kit,
  • painted headlights with eyebrows which make her look mean
  • 3dsm wheels.
  • She is sitting on tein coilovers
  • hks exhaust system which is fully decatted.
  • 225 Walbro fuel pump
  • sti top mount intercooler,

she has had a turbo upgrade from a td04 to a vf48 and produces 350bhp and 380ftlbs of torque mapped by Duncangrahamat Surrey rolling road.

Also has a hydro dipped dashboard with skulls on it and interior neons?

a quick-release steering wheel from drift works and kode performance along with prosport gauges.

I have a few changes coming so I'll keep that as a surprise but you can follow the build on Instagram.

Most of the work has been done by myself or with friends so I can learn and share my knowledge., which is a great thing about the community we are all in, people are willing to help and share their knowledge because they to start somewhere, and now they know how to do it themselves their willing to pass it on, I have learnt alot from the people around me and at car meets

I head to shows with other Subaru members normally Trax and japfest and other local shows, im mostly into jap cars, I mean who wouldn't be, they have so many awesome cars and what people do to them is amazing.

My dream car is a Nissan Skyline r34gtr. It's just a thing of beauty. I also go to a lot of car meets which I love to do and chat with other enthusiasts. There is just something that makes me happy about someone talking about their pride and joy. You get a sense of who they are. I love meeting new people that share the same passion

Thanks for reading my story
