Photography for me started as a hobby. I have been practicing for a little over 15 years now. I was building cars for SEMA before I really dove into the world of automotive photography. I shot mainly for myself as it was and still remains a passion. I did not really get serious until the last car I built was totaled.

I now shoot and write for not only Stance Auto Magazine; I also shoot for PASMAG, Official Racewars USA, and Just Vibes Events, and am now affiliated with R1 Concepts. I cover many other events around the United States as well. Automotive photography for me is a way to capture not just a car but the story behind the car. Each builder puts a part of themself into their cars. As a photographer, it’s my job to tell that story and share it through my lens.

r0cean11 Photography began as a simple hobby for me—something I explored out of pure curiosity and passion. Twenty-four years later, it has grown into one of the defining parts of my life. Before stepping fully into automotive photography, I spent years building cars for SEMA. I photographed my own builds and projects long before I ever considered taking the craft seriously. That all changed when my last build was totaled; from that moment, photography became more than an interest—it became my purpose. ----------- Today, I shoot and write for Stance Auto Magazine, PASMAG, 742 Marketing Events, Super Lap Battle, Global Time Attack, RACEWORZ, and a wide range of automotive events across the United States. ----------- To me, automotive photography is more than capturing a vehicle—it’s about telling the story that lives within it.
