The Origin of The Punisher Trackhawk Build

Michael Orsino, a 54-year-old enthusiast from Stamford, Connecticut, has always blended passion with precision. By day he works in sales for Northeast Electrical Distributors, but in the garage, he becomes an artisan—mixing performance, design, and storytelling into every build.

His inspiration started early.
“My cousin Al had this red Fox Body Mustang when we were young. It was loud, fast, and unique. That car lit a fire in me.”
Al later opened his own autobody shop, showing Michael what craftsmanship truly looked like.

That fire reignited when Michael met Luke (@World_of_imports.ceo), the creator of the iconic purple Infiniti “THOR.” The airbrushed detail, depth, and theme sparked something new:
“That level of art gave me the inspiration to build my own themed car. That’s how The Punisher was born.”

Why a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk?

The Perfect Platform for Power and Personality

Michael’s choice was simple: “It’s the fastest SUV made.”

He found his Trackhawk in Tennessee and brought it home as a daily driver to sit alongside his other themed masterpiece—a Honda Civic Type R known as “BATMAN.” But like any true builder knows, a daily driver never stays stock for long. The transformation was inevitable.

The Punisher Persona: A One-of-One Themed Trackhawk

This Trackhawk isn’t just built—it’s crafted. Everything from the wrap to the LEDs reflects a singular vision.

“My car is one of one,” Michael says. “You can buy a Trackhawk, but you can’t buy The Punisher.”

Behind the Wheel

The experience matches the look:
“It feels great—there’s nothing like the roar, the torque, the instant pull.”
And every drive turns into a show—heads turning, phones up, conversations starting everywhere he goes.

Advice for Aspiring Builders

Michael is direct and honest:
“Go for it. Buy it, build it, enjoy it — but don’t copy The Punisher theme.”
His message is simple: represent who you are. Creativity happens in the details, and that’s where truly memorable builds separate themselves.

Community, Culture & Speed Gravity

Michael proudly represents Speed Gravity (@Speed_Gravity) — more than just a show crew, it is a family.

Giving Back Through Horsepower

One of their most meaningful traditions is the annual toy drive, where members donate gifts and personally deliver them to children in need.

In 2025, the group plans to expand the initiative to twice a year, reinforcing their mission to combine horsepower with heart.

The SEMA Journey of The Punisher

A Three-Year Evolution

2022: The Punisher debuted in the DUB Booth (outdoor showcase).
2024: Michael returned with his Civic Type R “BATMAN,” featured at the Rotary Solutions tent with 742 Marketing.
2025: The Punisher entered SEMA Central Hall—the most prestigious indoor placement of the event.

“This version is the ultimate evolution,” Michael shares. “Everything—exterior, interior, engine, performance—was rebuilt or refined. It’s my most complete vision yet.”

He credits Jeff from Race Wars TM for helping make the 2025 SEMA run possible.
“When Jeff said, ‘You’re in,’ it was the best feeling ever.”

Looking Ahead: The Next Chapter

The next project is already in the garage — a 2002 Acura RSX with a new theme in development.
But The Punisher isn’t finished. Michael continues to refine it, pushing boundaries in creativity, detail, and execution.

Dream Car Philosophy

“I already have them,” he says with a smile. With BATMAN and The Punisher in the garage, Michael’s imagination has already taken form. But like all builders, there’s always room for one more.

Final Quote from Michael Orsino

“For anyone thinking about building their dream car — do it. There’s nothing more rewarding than creating something truly yours.”

r0cean11 Photography began as a simple hobby for me—something I explored out of pure curiosity and passion. Twenty-four years later, it has grown into one of the defining parts of my life. Before stepping fully into automotive photography, I spent years building cars for SEMA. I photographed my own builds and projects long before I ever considered taking the craft seriously. That all changed when my last build was totaled; from that moment, photography became more than an interest—it became my purpose. ----------- Today, I shoot and write for Stance Auto Magazine, PASMAG, 742 Marketing Events, Super Lap Battle, Global Time Attack, RACEWORZ, and a wide range of automotive events across the United States. ----------- To me, automotive photography is more than capturing a vehicle—it’s about telling the story that lives within it. Every builder leaves a piece of themselves in their car, and my job is to honor that by showcasing their vision through my lens. ----------- You’ll find my event coverage, feature shoots, and automotive storytelling across all my platforms. I’m always open to connecting, answering questions, and collaborating with builders, enthusiasts, and fellow creatives. ----------- I am also a Partner with Stance Auto Magazine, serving as the Director of Marketing and Media. ----------- Facebook (Personal): Donald Rochin (Donnie Roc)
