My name is Greg Rivera, I am from El Paso texas I have lived here all my life. I graduated high school with the class of 2020 and now I work as a real estate investor. I always had the nicest cars in the high school parking lot. I played basketball for all of my life, I started when I was 4 years old and I played up until my senior year of high school. I had the chance to go play out of state for college but I chose to stay home and start working. 

What got me into the car scene was probably the fast and the furious movies but only the first 3 movies they came out with. I always thought the idea of having such a nice and unique car was the coolest thing ever. 

My first car was a 2001 Mustang GT convertible. I got that car when I was a freshman in high school. Although I was not able to drive it much since I was too young I would hand wash it multiple times a week at home I would be going to the junkyards with my dad to go fix some of the interior plastic that was cracked. It was a fun father-son project, we put a cold air intake, throttle body spacer, and we replaced the intake manifold. Then when I was a junior in high school I purchased a 2019 red mustang gt and I added a Roush supercharger from the dealer. 710 horsepower I had never felt anything like it. I instantly fell in love.

Last year after I got out of high school I purchased a 2003 ford f150 for work but I customized everything about that truck from the paint to the wheels to the decals and emblems. It took about a month to get everything done. Sadly 5 days after I got out of the shop somebody ran into me and the insurance company salvaged it. That's when I purchased my 2019 ram 1500 in august of 2020. I have customized this truck to the max I put 2 light bars, a 6-inch rough country lift, 35-inch tires on 20 in rims, I put a wrap on it, I put a y-pipe with Flowmaster super 40 and black tips on the exhaust and I put rock lights around the whole truck. 

The reason I purchased this truck was for offroading reasons. When I had my 2003 ford f150 I went off-roading the day I got it and my friends and I got stuck until 4 in the morning. After that night I researched that maybe my 4x4 was broken and that's when I came to realize that the 4x4 system it had was not good, only one tire in the back and one in the front would spin. After I wrecked that truck I researched trucks and 4x4 systems. And the dodge ram 1500 was the only truck I found that was a 1500 or 150 truck that had all 4 wheels with power at the same time and that is the reason I purchased the ram. And since then I have not gotten stuck one time. I have pulled out so many people that get stuck no problem. 

It feels great to own my own car. To me, since I don't have any children my cars are like my children I wash them at least once a week I buff and wax every 6 months I do routine oil changes I take very good care of my vehicles and that is all thanks to my dad he taught me all the things I know he has helped me with every modification I do to all my cars. 

Tip/Advice

If you love offroading as much as I do make sure you get a ram. I have owned it for 6 months and I have had so much fun out in the dirt. The 5.7 litre Hemi has more than enough power to not get stuck.  If you love deep muscle rumble make sure you cut the resignators and put on a Flowmaster super 40 muffler. It makes all the difference in my eyes.
