I started out taking photos back in 2018. I’ve always been influenced by cars and going to shows and events, and I was a BIG fan of the Forza Horizon games. I used to always take photos of cars in the game and even ended up making an Instagram account solely for Forza photography.

A friend of mine had a small car show called “cars & coffee French quarter” in a town local to me, and one day he asked me to get photos of all the cars that came by. My mother had an old Canon Rebel XSI laying around that I asked her to use, and she agreed.

When I got to the show I had ZERO clue what I was doing, I had no idea how to work a camera or how to understand settings, so I would just point and shoot, BUT… that was THE most fun I think I’ve ever had at a local car event.

That’s what started it all, So I have to thank my good friend Clay Martin. After taking photos of a couple of small car meets, I started to set up shoots outside of shows and the creativity just started to rush out.

Eventually, I gave my mother her camera back and bought a Canon 40D and used that for about two years, then upgraded to a Canon EOS RP. I can honestly say that photography has taken me to amazing places and has given me the opportunity to meet some absolutely incredible people. 

I’m based in East Texas about an hour from the Louisiana border, but I travel all over to shoot. I do video work for a local shop as my 9-5 job and take photos on the weekends. Photography has become more than a passion to me, it’s cliché to say but it’s truly become a lifestyle of mine and I don’t ever see myself stopping. Not anytime soon at least.
