Two nearly identical Ferrari F430s are for sale at the same time are going head to head on two different auction sites. One F430 is an 18k mile 2009 factory gated six-speed, and the other is an under 13k mile 2007 F430 that has been converted into a gated six-speed by European Auto Group. Other than one car being converted from F1 to a gated six-speed, these cars are identical, the only aspect that's completely different, is the wheels and the interior, as one is black and the other comes in red.

The factory manual F430 can be seen being auctioned on Bring A Trailer, and the converted manual F430 can be seen on PCar Market.  This is more than likely a rare occurrence with both cars being so close to the same exact spec. We've never seen a factory and a conversion car sell at the exact same time. Seeing what both of these cars bring will be extremely exciting.

Check them out on each of their respective auction sites and read a quick description of both below to get a quick taste of both cars.

13K Mile 2007 Ferrari F430 Gated Six Speed Conversion

Sought out for its impeccable condition and desirable factory options including Carboceramic brakes, Daytona Seats, Scuderia shields, and contrast stitching, this F430 was purchased by European Auto Group (EAG) of Texas in 2020 with the specific purpose of carrying out a 6-speed manual gearbox conversion.  Specializing in these types of conversions, EAG utilized premium quality CNC billet aluminium components and upgrades resulting in what the seller describes as a tighter and more engaging feel compared with a factory 6-speed example.  Routine service and repairs were carried out during the time of the conversion and a 4-year transmission warranty will be provided by EAG to the next owner.  With just under 13k miles showing on the odometer, this remarkable F430 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of San Antonio, Texas.

Inside, the black leather interior features extensive contrast stitching and power-adjustable Daytona style seats.  The cabin is noted to have been well preserved with only minor wear to the driver's seat bolster. Factory options listed on the $229,570 original window sticker include a leather-wrapped rear shelf and door mouldings, a high-power HiFi sound system with a subwoofer, and rear parking sensors. As part of the manual transmission conversion, EAG has installed an aluminum 6-speed shifter gate along with an upgraded carbon fibre shift knob.

The seller notes that the manual conversion was carried out using high-quality pieces including a CNC billet aluminum 6061 shift tower assembly with upgraded nylon 12 CF internal components, a CNC billet aluminum reverse bushing, an upgraded clutch master cylinder, an upgraded clutch distribution block from Hill Engineering, a new clutch assembly, and rebuilt clutch release bearing.

18k Mile 2009 Ferrari F430 Factory Gated Six-Speed

This 2009 Ferrari F430 comes from the final year of production and has been registered in California since new. Now with just 18k miles, the car is finished in grey over a red interior and powered by a 4.3-litre V8 paired with a factory-optioned six-speed manual transaxle. Features include 19″ Challenge-style wheels, an electronic limited-slip differential, a Tubi dual exhaust system, carbon-ceramic brakes, carbon fibre trim, xenon headlamps, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, power-adjustable Daytona-style seats, and a Kenwood sound system. The current owner acquired the car in 2014, and work since 2020 included resurfacing the flywheel and replacing the clutch, ball joints, and tie rod ends. This F430 is now offered on consignment by the selling dealer with a window sticker, a certificate of authenticity, service records, a car cover, a battery tender.

An accident in 2017 resulted in repairing the left quarter panel and rear bumper cover, as well as replacement of the rear panel, taillight housings, and windshield by Anthony’s Auto Craft of San Rafael, California. The paint was blended into the right quarter panel at that time, and records from the work are viewable in the gallery along with photos of paint meter readings and images detailing the car at various stages of the repair.

Power-adjustable Daytona-style seats are trimmed in Bordeaux leather with prancing horse logos embossed on the headrests. Carbon fibre trim adorns the cabin, and amenities include automatic climate control, power accessories, a gated shifter, aluminium pedals and footrests, a Kenwood sound system, and a fire-extinguisher secured in the passenger’s footwell. The seller notes leather shrinkage on the dash as well as a tacky driver-side door handle. Wear is evident on the driver’s seat.
