I am 35 years old, my profession is construction special inspector.  I am passionate about racing and race cars.  During my spare time, I like to work on my car, attend car shows, go for long drives, hang out with car friends, and work out. Like most people in my generation, the movie The Fast and the Furious got me interested in the car scene and modifying cars when I was in high school, but from an early age, I enjoyed racing games and racing cars.

The RX7 VeilSide Fortune from Tokyo Drift inspired me to build my own version.  It was one of the most beautiful cars I've ever seen and when I found out that the base car was an RX7, that's when I made up my mind that I wanted to own and build an RX7 FD race car.

The custom wide body kit makes my car stand out, It's a mixture of two body kits, TCP Magic Type TT Ultimate Time Attack front end and side skirts, and Rocket Bunny rear over fenders.  But mainly what makes it unique is how every piece flows together. It's pure joy, to own this car. From how unique the rotary motor is, the way it sounds, and the look of the car it's a dream come true for me.  It also brings me happiness when people give me thumps when they see the car driving by, I'm glad most people like my vision.

Engine and Suspension work was performed by Lucky 7 Racing and myself. Paint by DTM Autobody, and the bodywork, brakes, and interior were done by me.

Future Plans

Yes definitely.  I feel this build won't be complete until I put a 4-rotor motor in it.  At the moment I have aero and wheel upgrades coming in (RE-Amemiya Rear Diffuser PRO carbon mounts, RE-Amemiya Carbon Super Canard Rear AD GT, and Work Emotion ZR10 2P wheels)

Advice/Tips

Work hard for what you want and never give up.  Do what makes you happy because life is short and tomorrow is not promised.
