I’m 29 years old from Buffalo NY, Full-time pharmacy technician, a mom, a student and a Full-time female car enthusiast as well. I got interested in cars about 12 years ago as his and her hobby that quickly became a lifestyle. I myself have been in the car scene for about 7 years now, started with 2008 VW GTI APR Stage 1 6 Speed Manual and have since upgraded to a 2015 Volkswagen GTI SE 6 Speed Manual Cobb Stage 3 in Tornado Red named “Candy”.

I have a love of station wagons, something about the body and the size just screams ME!!. I am very outgoing and friendly which does help when you are a female in a male-dominated environment. Being one of the few females fully invested in the car scene this means I need to shake things up and show them that we can be part of this industry and that we can be great at it too. Like many other females in the car scene, I have had situations where I am not welcomed or where I am seen as the underdog among many others but I do not allow that to discourage me as I know my capabilities and will to make my car vision a reality.

I have so many people that appreciate my project as well as include my opinions in theirs, giving me that reassuring feeling that I am doing great in what I do. I love to hear ideas from other enthusiasts and admire the time and dedication that they put into everything they do. In 2019, I became a co-founder of Route 787, a local car club, founded on our passion for cars and motivation to create a group where we can share ideas, motivate each other and go to events as one big family.

My VW has won 5 trophies among them Top 100, Top 40, Top 30, 1st Place VW and 2nd Place Cleanest Female Ride. What makes my ride special is that I love to think outside the box, to have new and fresh ideas. To me my Volkswagen it's one of a kind because it's a non-usual concept, not our typical MK7 making it unique. The colour adds so much to it as it screams attention and all the details that have been added make it very eye-catching. It's an ongoing project, hopefully, in the future, I can do a turbo upgrade, with a Pro-tune.

Engine-wise my plan is to convert all covers into the red or black carbon fibre. The ideas for external modifications are endless, every day there are new things catching my attention and changing my plans but one thing that has been in my head for a while is a full-colour wrap something in the family of blues as well as a more aggressive hatch spoiler, side skirts and a rear diffuser. Headlight and Taillight conversions are also included in my future plans.
