The fact that it's a skyline and a wagon, Wagons, in general, don't get much love which is one thing that draws me to them.

I am 34 years old and a parts specialist at a Lexus dealer, recently I moved to TN from VA. From GA originally. I have always been into old school jdm cars, the first car was an 88 Supra I owned two of those over the span of 12 years.

I’ve been into cars for as long as I can remember, my dad was the biggest influence when I was younger he had a 68 Camaro he was fixing up and we were always playing with Hotwheels or building car models together.

I fell in love with this car when I saw pictures of it at the port in Japan waiting to be shipped stateside. It's so different from the popular jdm cars being imported. Rarely do people know skyline wagons even exist, makes for fun convos. Once I got the car and started learning everything I could it was a big motivation to turn it into what it is now. To showcase just how good the neglected r31 skylines really are.

It's an amazing feeling to own this car it never fails to put a smile on my face and the reaction it gets from people is so fun to watch or hear, they are always taking pictures and asking questions that I’m always happy to answer. If you are planning on restoring or building a classic car don't get discouraged with the lack of info or some of the hard to find parts, patience is key like with any other car/build. It can be overwhelming at times but the result is always worth it.

S13 front suspension and brake setup is a great route. Parts are way easier to source and the performance is much improved over factory r31 components. The fact that it's a skyline and a wagon, Wagons, in general, don't get much love which is one thing that draws me to them. My R31 House turbo manifold is only one of two in the USA, that I know of, so it's definitely not something you'll see elsewhere.

I've done all the work myself except for welding the intercooler piping and making the driveshaft I did have some help from great friends whether it was social media friends chatting about issues and plans or people lending a hand when it came to the bigger jobs. Huge thanks to everyone who had a hand in what the car has become. I think the car is pretty set as far as the build goes. I'd like to redo the entire exhaust, replace the steering rack, and possibly have a different turbo set-up.

I'm a part of a group called The Three Ones. It's a US-based group for R31 owners, it's a great group of people who are always helpful, it helps that there aren't a lot of us in the states. Ha! My other group is Outsider Skylines, insta tag @outsider_skylines. It's primarily any sub-model skyline other than GTR's, which is also a cool group but it's much larger than my other one.

The groups have definitely given me friends and not just car friends but friends in general. The car scene always surprises me the way you can meet the coolest people that otherwise you may have never met it makes my passion for cars that much stronger.

My dream car is a tie right now between a hakosuka wagon or a c130 laurel sgx. Either one with an s20 swap would be the dream.
