Hello, my name is Carlos Paredes, I am 38 years old, married with 2 kids, I am originally from Ecuador ( South America ) but I’m now living in Charlotte Nc for over 15 years, I grew up with a passion for cars, and was always interested in Learning anything about cars, it didn’t matter the make, year or model, every car has something special about the.

I am coming to the USA as soon as I finish school with the intention to see exotic cars and sports cars, like other kids I love the Honda cars because they are fun to drive and really easy to learn the basics, Subarus caught my attention, design, color and like any other Subaru fan because it is a rally car, I always dreamed of owning one, but the price compared with the other cars is really high, but I never stop dreaming 

After waiting a few years I got my Subaru, and I still love it every time I see it in the garage or parked on the road, some people understand the pasión and some don’t, I respect everyone because we all have our favourite cars and builds.

Funny short history, I always wanted a Subaru but was always afraid to buy one because I would always hear bad stories about the engine, one day I went to a dealer because my wife wanted a new car, and she fell in love with a BMW X5, we found one, when we arrived at the dealer the salesperson showed us the lot and in the back of the lot.

I saw a white Subaru the salesperson said “I see you, you like the Subarus”  my wife replied “it is my husband's dream Car but I’m here for my x5”, we went for a test drive, when we came back from the test drive she was in love with the car, as I started to sign the papers the salesperson said to me “come outside I have a little surprise”  and I saw the Subaru, the salesperson told me to just go for a test drive and let me know, so I did,  the test drive, was awesome, and so we bought the Subaru and not the x5,  after couple days we went back for the x5.

After 2 years I have had the car, unfortunately, the engine blew up so I put the car in the garage and I started thinking should I sell it like that or build it, it took me 2 years to decide to build the car, so I started to buy the parts, originally I just wanted to fix it, but soon as I bought one part I wanted to upgrade something so I decided to build a little monster lol, a long process and a lot of hard work and money. Now all my family loves my car and maybe it's not the best Subaru in the world but it's the best for me, I’m still thinking I can do more to it.
