I work in Sales as Transaction Manager for Mercedes-Benz in Cornwall. I've worked in the motor trade since the age of 20, so 14 years now! I live just outside Portreath in west Cornwall with my wife and 2 kids. Both cars name kids of course, Austin as in Healy and Robyn (not as in reliant, but her initials are REV).

I change my cars a lot. With work, and for my wife. She's into the car scene too. She imported herself a Nissan Elgrand, V6, rwd so we can do the surf boards and stuff with kids but with some JDM flair and not the typical Cornish VW Transporter! At the moment, I drive the CRZ. I've had "fast cars" in loads of hot hatches, most recent the Clio's and the Mugen Civic. But the Honda CRZ is rare. It's not fast, but looks different and I like to stand out. It was something me and my son wanted to use for shows. Just driving nicely with tunes on and enjoying show days.

My parents are both into cars. My dad is a big Japanese car fan, and my mum worked in the motor trade. So I was around cars from as long as I can remember. After that... Customisation. Seeing modified cars. Max Power! Then as I was learning to drive Fast and Furious haha. Fell in love with all of it.

My car is slow as the engine is standard. Only 140bhp. Has a great chassis once she's wound up though, but this is a hybrid and only £20 to tax! But spec wise, full custom wide body kit by Rennen GT based off a Rexxstyling kit. It is the only car in the UK like it! Wheels are 3SDM 9.5 x 18, and it's slammed on Tein SuperStreet coilovers. Noise comes from a full Js Racing 70RS system and custom made induction kit. Inside, again custom finished Corbeau reclining buckets in white, with white door cards and red carpets. The car has the full factory Mugen body kit too so it's special on special! It's then wrapped in TechWrap crimson red matte chrome.

I don't have any exact plans for the future, maybe a few tweaks, maybe new wheels.... project cars are never finished!

My first car was a 1994 MK3 Fiesta I got at 16! I learned to drive it, modding on my driveway of course. First proper car after that was a 1.4 Civic which ended up fully body kitted ala Max Power. Cool for a 17 year old lad back then!

I've done JapFest, FCS, all the big ones in the past, and do all the local ones here - so mainly BHP Fuel Fest and Southwest Autosport. I don't really enter car competitions, just go to shows with my family and friends for the joy of it!

My dream cars are a Liberty Walk kitted GTR or an NSX Type R. They need no explanation as they're both just legends!

Lastly all I'd say is support your cars owners clubs. Support local clubs, and attend local shows. Don't drive like a twat on the road, it gives all modified cars a bad name!
