Vauxhall insignia 2.0 CDTi Vx-line
I love the modified scene old or new its great to see what people can do to there cars, but as I get older I am preferring the old skool stuff and wouldn't mind owning a mk3 Astra GSi, I Work as a machine driver at a scrap yard which is handy to get hold of some car parts.
I originally got the car as a work car for doing long journeys from Sheffield to Immingham 5 days a week its a great car to run cheap on fuel and only £30 a year road tax as for the previous car had to be filled twice a week to do that sort of mileage..as for the insignia the intention of doing a mod here and there was never intended for this car but as you can see it dint stay standard
The car was in a big accident 2 years back and was a right off with insurance wanting to scrap it I had to have it back..so began a rebuild all-new front end..trying to find some of the parts at reasonable prices wasn't easy as Vauxhall dealership still wanted to charge the earth for minor parts
About 6 months after the rebuild the car was spotted by a photographer at PERFORMANCE VAUXHALL show and the car was featured in their magazine which was a great feeling after all the stress of finding new parts and money parted Id like to think that the car itself is pretty well known in the Vauxhall scene as there aren't many modified insignias.
Modifications will continue how far I can't answer that as there is always something new to do...next on the list is Corsa vxr rear bumper vents
