1.5 Tsi VW Golf Evo

The very first fast and furious film got me into cars, watching Paul Walker in the eclipse and Vin Diesel in the viper along with the family they had created From it hooked me. My first car is my current, a 1.5 Tsi VW Golf Evo in turmeric yellow, Called Geoff. I chose this colour because I wanted to be different and to stand out knowing what I had in store for it. I’ve had the car for about a year and didn’t really do anything to it but I ended up almost writing it off because I was trying to impress a girl. When 2020 started I got a new Job and then lockdown started and I finally had the time and money to start mortifying it. I started off with a macron design splitter, coilovers from Raceland Suspension and a wiper delete kit from kill all wipers. Which I fitted myself during the lockdown.

I also picked up some 17-inch wheels from the Facebook marketplace which I got refurbished into gloss black. Then I finally got my big spoiler from Diversion Stores, Waited 3 months for this due to being on special order and Covid. I made sure to have a collection of stickers in my back window just like Paul Walker and Vin Diesel.

I eventually decided I’d get my car de chromed and bonnet wrapped in black to make it more different and to offset the colour a bit. I then sold my cheap wheels and got a set of Bola B17 on pilot sport 4 tyres to really complete the look. I’m far from finished with Geoff in the next couple of months. He's going in for a stage 1 map and sports cat with 3 “ quad exhausts with DK Tuning. So far it’s got:

• Gloss black Front splitter -Maxton design 
• Gloss black spoiler-Diversion stores
• Bola b17 18” 
• Wiper delete -Kill all wipers 
• Wrapped bonnet 
• De-badged and De-chromed 
• Lowered on coilovers-Raceland
• Collection on stickers

Having this car has really saved my life and showed me there’s a whole world out there to explore, I wanna give a massive thank you to Vagsociety which I met on Instagram and made me feel welcome into the car community at one of the lowest points in my life.
