The car's name is Freddy, he is a 2007 Citroen C2 Furio 1.4i Sport.
I got into the car scene by accident really. I saw this little red C2 damaged on Co-part. It was in a sorry state when it was delivered. I had all damage repaired over the first year. I had the C2 with the intentions of changing it after my first driving year, but I joined an amazing group C2UK which opened my eyes to the full potential of these underrated hot hatches. My fiance has always been very hands on with cars, particularly classics. He owns a Triumph 2500s and a Citroen AX and with his help and guidance, I've learned so much and been able to make this car my own.
2 years on and I still love the car. It's been very reliable and a pleasure to drive, feels like a go-kart. I'm happy with how it's coming along, but it's not quite finished yet. The plans for this year is to refurb the alloys to black and to have a full total respray and colour change.
I've focused on aesthetically modifying the car rather than performance as this engine is very reliable. At this moment in time, he is standard. Although, future plans may involve an engine conversion.

I've recently focused on smartening up the engine bay during lockdown. I've painted the underside of the bonnet for practice and I'm very proud of how it came out.
I'm not bothered about speed, I enjoy the car for what it is. The C2's are slowly fading from the scene unfortunately so I'm not letting go of mine.

I try to attend as many events as I can. I attend local meets with Blacklisted Syndicate. With C2UK I try to attend as many events as I can, the main one for me being the yearly Trax at Silverstone. I enjoy seeing the massive variety out there and seeing the hard work and effort people put into their beloved cars.
My dream car?
That's easy, a Lotus Elise 11R. Ever since playing the first Gran Turismo as a child I've fallen in love with these little sports cars. Although, my Dad used to own a Ford Sierra Xr4i, which was absolutely stunning. I wouldn't mind having one of those in my life.
