My name is Cameron Phillips, aged 23 and I work as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer! Let’s just say I have been a petrol head since birth!

I currently drive a Ford fiesta 1.0 Eco boost black edition.
What got me into the car scene? My dad worked for Subaru and Land Rover in London when I was young, so it has always been destiny to be in love with what I have always helped work on, cars…
In terms of car stats, the Fezza is 1.0 turbocharged 3-cylinder Eco boost engine, pushing 170bhp. She has never seen 71mph ;) standing 1/4 mile: 16.21 secs.

With regards to the work undertaken on my car, let’s just say that all work has been done by me. Being an engineer does have its benefits and these things come naturally to me however, one thing I would say to anyone is, do not be intimidated by anything! If it seems too overcomplicated, your probably just overthinking it. Take 2 and rethink the process again.

The Fiesta was not my first car, in fact my first car was a 2001 1.1L Citroen Saxo and the very first car on the road! I must say, I still miss the Saxo to this day! The Fiesta is my 7th car however, the 3rd I have modified. My previous car was a slammed MK2 Focus.
Is it finished or do you have more plans for it? Well, by the tome your reading this, it will already have coil overs fitted and a decent set up and I should be toying with a roof wrap!

I do indeed enter car competitions. I managed to land best in show back in October 2017 with my local club ‘Character Cars UK’.
I bloody love show season, I use up most of my annual leave trying to attend as many as I can!
What is my dream car? Ultimate question of all times, since I was a kid I have always loved the facelift Nissan s14! I love the body line and the sharp edges of the headlights. As I grew up I started to love the engineering behind them too! I just love the sound of a boosted SR20!
