FittedUK Car Show - Manchester

This show was eagerly awaited by me as it was sure to have some very hot cars on show. It didn't disappoint, with over 1000 cars, some of the best cars from all over the UK, there was a healthy mix of JDM and modified cars, slammed, stanced and retro, with the show cars turning up the day before there was plenty of time to get the polish out and show their fine paint work and modifications of.
The convention centre has multiple rooms so the cars were displayed in each room and the main hall was packed with show cars, display stalls and the FittedUK DJ stand, which was pumping out music and generally getting the crowd involved, there was plenty to see and do besides seeing the cars and grabbing them photos, with a BMX Display, free giveaways and merchandise to buy from a multitude of stalls.
It was refreshing to see that the staff were accommodating and the queuing outside was very short as they got everyone in pretty quickly unlike some I have attended, on entering the building you are presented with a very large hall, this was the train station many years ago, in the main hall was a vast display and wanting to take photos of every car I was like a kid in a candy shop, around the edges of the hall are other rooms.
These were also packed with display cars and were set out very well, not wanting to put all the best ones in one spot they spread them out, so every room you entered had its fair share of outstanding vehicles, I liked this, as it drew you to other rooms, making sure you covered it all, which I did and it took me 5 hours.
It was nice to see there were also some of our cars from the magazine on display, sadly I couldn't find the owners for a meet and greet, maybe next time, but I still got some photos.

MY VERDICT
This show was very welcoming to all, although there was no parking included in the price of the ticket, I personally think £25 per ticket is a bit steep for a family this would be expensive, with parking in Manchester being expensive this bumped your price up, the convention centre does have parking below the venue and it did offer a reduced price for the day at £5.00 a car, with this said and being out of their control, I like to think they tried to make up for this with free gifts and extra entertainment, plus I would guess the rent for this venue would be very steep for the day as it is a lovely indoor venue with plenty of space and conveniences plus it's in the heart of the town centre.
In general, this was a fantastic show, very well organised and staffed, with lots to see and do, I don't make my presence known to organisers so my verdict and opinions are my own, I go to a lot of shows and this was fantastic I enjoyed my time there and got plenty of footage, I certainly will be attending their next Manchester Show, they also hold these in other cities so make sure you check them out, this gets a big thumbs up from me.
