Event Organised by petrolheadonism.club.

Back for a 2nd year, Petrolheadonisum graced the grounds of the beautiful Knebworth house for a fun-filled action-packed weekend. Two days of cars, entertainment and socialising for the whole family. Driving up the sweeping driveway I was already in my element car spotting. The parking was well signposted and marshalled so queues flowed well, meaning no waiting around.

Once parked up I headed over to the main showground. The field was quickly filling up with an array of cars including Supercar Enclosures, the Max Power Cars, Muscle Cars plus a small area dedicated to Motorbikes. As well as a whole host of club stands including Simply Mustang and Auto Anonymous.

In the distance I could see the stage area where DJ Richie Don was set up ready to do his thing, plus plenty of space for car reveals, celebrity interviews, burnouts and much more that was planned to keep the crowds entertained over the weekend. There was also a food court area and a favourite of mine, the added attraction of a Ferris wheel which also made a cool backdrop for photos

Throughout the day I made it my mission to get around everything and chat with as many people as I could on the way. This included a stop to see the Dip Monkey crew who had an amazing range of cars on display, including the ever-popular Sheriff Sally, who also appeared on stage later in the day raising the temperature with her flaming display. Plus Lord Sham Loxley was at the show revealing his latest car to the public, a stunning MK1 Escort, as well as presenting his Finger of Approval trophies.

For those who like to have celebrity spots, there were plenty in attendance including Richard Rawlings, Adam C, Mat Watson and even the Stig who was spotted wandering around.

Throughout the day the showground was a constant buzz of activity, whether it was on the stage area, or on one of the many stands around the ground. There was plenty to see and do, and something new to see whichever way you looked. It also helped that the weather was on the side and the sun shone the whole day.

I was only there for Saturday, but I hear Sunday was even busier with lots of new cars and things for those who were lucky enough to attend both days.
