I currently work for HEB Grocery Co. here in San Marcos TX. I have always been sort of interested in cars but, I really got into them back in my Sophomore year in high school back in 2014. My high school dream car was the C7 Corvette Stingray which two students in my school actually owned! I was very fortunate to have purchased that car just at the age of 19.

I currently drive a 2017 Shelby Mustang GT350 and I absolutely love this car! It is an absolute blast to drive, sounds amazing and is a great daily driver! The Shelby GT350 and the Corvette were the only two cars I actually wanted, I do like a lot of other cars but none were enough to the point I would actually own them.

What got me into the car scene? I would have to say that my passion for cars was derived from ‘The Fast and the Furious’. To be quite honest here, I am the only one in the family who is actually into cars, however, while growing up my brother and I used to play racing games like the ‘Need for Speed’ as well.

Let’s talk more about my Mustang GT350, the car is a front-engine, RWD, 2 Door Sports car, it is powered by a 5.2L flat-plane crank DOHC 32-Valve V-8 Engine which is capable of revving all the way out to 8250 RPM which is something you would find in a high end exotic like Ferrari! Cool right? The car produces 526bhp and 429-lb-ft. From 0-60, the Mustang can make it is only an incredible 4.0 seconds but, it makes up for that time on some fun backroads or on the track as this is essentially what the car was built for!

In terms of mods, I don’t really have any performance parts done to the car because I don’t want to void the warranty so most of what is done are based on cosmetics. The car is currently equipped with an Airlift Performance 3P Suspension Kit. This is also the only bagged GT350 in the SATX/ATX and surrounding areas of 1of2 in the State of Texas, the other one I believe is in Dallas, TX. Other than the suspension, I have a wicker bill that a good friend and I installed ourselves, an extended front splitter with a Fully Torques Racing (FTR) rods to give the front end a more aggressive look. The car also has aftermarket electric blue racing stripes with silver pinstripes that was installed by a shop in San Antonio called, JC’s Auto Salon.

I am currently in the process of getting some custom colour changing headlights done to the car and I have other small decals on the car like my Instagram tag and stickers I have received from car shows. The car is also ceramic coated which was also done by JC’s Auto Salonwho initially did my stripes and I had BlackJack Speedshop owned by Tim Duncan in New Braunfels in Texas install my front splitter along with the FTR rods. I’m not really one who likes to cheap out when it comes to paying for stuff to get installed on my car, I am a true believer that you get what you pay for.

If the Mustang GT350 was my first car, no it wasn’t. In fact, it is my fourth car. My first car was a 2009 Volkswagen Jetta. The majority of my build is finished, the last big thing I would like to do are the wheels and I am leaning towards some BC forged wheels, of course, I would love to boost the car one day and also add a wide body kit from ‘Shelby American’ but, I would first like to be in my career and not working a job although it pays pretty well! I am currently in a car club called Lone Star Squad @lonestarsquad on Instagram, most of the members are in or around the ATX area.

I mainly like to go to cars and coffee events. I have been to the one in Houston the most, I have never been to one in the SA because it always happens on a day I have to work and prior to the whole Corona thing, I was attending one at Circuit of the Americas in Austin however, that all shut down due to the virus. At the current time, I have not yet entered any car competitions but, I would most definitely love to one day.

My only other dream car I would say would be a C7 Z06 besides the Mustang GT350 because, I would also consider that my dream car however if we were talking about exotics and I had the money, I would have to say it would definitely be the Ferrari F12 Novitex N-Largo S. I hope you enjoyed reading about my story and the Mustang GT350. Don’t forget to give me a follow on Instagram.
