Hi all,

My name is Mark Sotelo however, people in the community know me by ‘Markie’. I currently reside in the heart of the car scene, Los Angeles County// CA // City of Glendora.

I have just recently changed careers from the Nursing field to now being a project engineer for construction whilst running a group buy business for car parts.

I currently drive an Infiniti Q50 2015 3.7L. Why I drive it? Well, last year I got myself into an accident and totalled my first Q50! I got the exact same car again because, it’s so fun to drive...

What got me into the car scene? Let’s just say it has definitely come from living in South California. I have always wanted a “cool car” over the years, I have developed business friends and actually turned my passion of ‘modifying’ into reality.

In terms of growing up in a family of petrol heads, I wouldn’t necessarily say this was the case. My step father had a celiac that he fixed up and that was about it!

I do indeed consider myself an extra for sure! Anything I can possibly add to my car I will! If not, I will make it and get it manufactured… In my eyes there is no such thing as basic, gotta go hard and heavy!

I would definitely say, never go the cheap route… EVER!! Or you will end up paying twice but, do take into consideration you either get a new part or fix something… Give it a few days and something else will break. Lol, it is just the life cycle of modifying cars unfortunately.

Is my car an import? Yessssss it is vq life is for me!

I would recommend people buying the same model of car as me. It is universal, you can keep the luxurious look or modify it heavily and still keep the performance. What more would you want!?

In relation to car stats, to be quite honest I have not taken it to the dyno yet.

@admintuning took care of me but, I am waiting for waiting for him to come to California so we can test the true power!!

What is your dream car? That's a good valid question but, I would say a McLaren 720 s with the masonry aero body kit. 

Or a simply GTR would do;)

While modifying cars - DONT USE CREDIT FOR ANYTHING. Pay cash if you can. Last thing you want to worry about is going broke while modifying. It’s not fun. So establish yourself then mod. More fun to do! 

Don't go broke trying to look cool.
