Introduction
Hi, I'm Kellie Boxall, proud owner of a 2003 Peugeot 206 GTi, now boasting a stunning 230bhp. You can follow my journey on Instagram: @Kelliespug.
My Love for Cars
I’ve been into cars all my life. As a child, I played with toy cars and later, as a teenager, I embraced the car scene. With Mark founding the Max Power Reunion and reviving the Max Power car era, I just had to jump back in. I was the first independent girl to get a car on the front cover of Max Power magazine with my 106 GTi.

Inspiration and Support
Cars have always been my passion, but my best friend Anthony, who sadly passed away last year, was my biggest inspiration and support when we first started modifying cars and attending shows. There weren't many girls in the scene back then, and getting taken seriously as a car enthusiast was a challenge.
My Journey with Peugeots
I've always had a thing for Peugeots. I started with a 205 GTi, then moved on to a 106 GTi, and eventually a 206 GTi. I was never happy with my first 206, so I sold it. Coming back to the car scene, I felt I had unfinished business with the 206, so I decided to build another one. This time, it’s a driveway build done by me and my husband, with all mods period-correct to the Max Power era. It’s pink, it's Max Power, it's very girly, and it's very me.
The Bold and Pink Transformation
The unique colour and body kit make my 206 GTi stand out. The retimmed interior also adds to its distinctiveness. It’s so much fun to own, and it always makes me smile. Despite being heavy and slow for a GTi, it drives like a tank. Engine mods might be needed in the future.

Who Did the Work?
My husband and I did most of the work ourselves on the driveway, which was stressful at times. The interior was retrimmed by Trim Deluxe, the wheels were refurbished by Pugz Polishing, and the hydro-dipped parts were done by The Dip Monkey Garage. The car was painted by PK Autosmart.
Peugeot 206 GTi : Future Plans
This winter, I plan to take out the backseats and install a mad stereo setup with loads of speakers and a screen. I'm considering whether to stick with the 2 x 12-inch subs or go for a single 15-inch sub.
