Hi all,

My name is Takeru Shinno and I am from Kukuoka, Japan. I currently work as an electrician for a living.

Instagram: @take_evo

I currently drive a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 7; I have been driving the first car I bought for 13 years now! I absolutely love it… What got me into the car scene? Good question! I must say that what got me into the scene was most definitely the watching of the Japanese Car Media called “Options” and the movie ‘The Fast and the Furious 1” and following all the good looking cars from overseas on Instagram.  My bug developed from there…

When growing up I must admit my father had an impact on my passion for cars. He was a petrol head and I happened to turn out to be just like him! I am planning to find somewhere, where we can combine the original colour ‘Pitch Black’ of Japan and combine numerous overseas parts with Voletex Aero parts and complete my pride and joy.

To be quite honest, I did not face any major problems up to the stage of completion. I would recommend explaining your ideas well and ensuring you meet up with the professionals and explain everything you expect. When work was being carried out, I was definitely looking forward to the delivery later on however, none of that would have been possible without the detailed discussions beforehand. I would definitely recommend my car to anyone, especially if you like a fast sedan that can carry a lot of luggage and passengers. In terms of car stats, my car is pulling a healthy 650mph.

In terms of who has done the work, I have not done it myself. I have asked two professional service providers to assist me with the work and have been very satisfied with the service they have provided.

The work relating to the engine has been done by a workshop called “Decide”:

All the work regarding the exterior has been done by “Hara Tire Industry”:

Many people do not expect to keep their first car however, I am so happy and satisfied with mine that to this day, I still drive my first car! In my opinion, no project is ever finished. My car is still incomplete. I want to achieve a car that can make a time attack in the circuit! I do attend some car meets and most importantly my passion for time attacks. I have even managed to prize myself with awareness at a car show! I find meets and shows very exciting.

What is my dream car? Let’s just put it simply here, my car is my dream car…
