Hi my name is Mogammad Moerat I'm 40 and I'm an installer at an engineering company called Magnador I currently reside in Cape Town, Mitchells Plain
For me, it all started when I took my first car apart and fitted new parts...I was hooked after that, Plus the excitement I get whenever I see a beautiful well-built car! Most car enthusiasts tend to lean to one side for example, some like modern cars and some like JDM cars like I do.
Why I chose this car and Customised it
During a search for a mid-price high-performance car, I test-drove this 1992 Nissan RS 200 sx....l didn't have a lot of driving experience other than regular daily use...Once I opened it up on the highway I knew that this was(THE ONE)after a little more research I went back and purchased it
Most of all I grew up loving Nissan's....one of the obvious reasons I've chosen this car is that this is one of the best all-rounder cars whether it's just looks, racing or drifting. Not only are sports cars aesthetically pleasing..... but they also possess road prowess....those who like to drive on the fast track and push the speed limits( NATURALLY ON TRACKS WHERE IT IS ALLOWED)know how exhilarating it is to drive a sports car.
If I were to give some advice on buying this kind of car....don't be afraid to get some inspiration, opinions and knowledge from others. At the end of the day doing your research helps a lot. When modifying the rb 25 you need to know the following bhp...targets of 300 to 350 and 400 are good goals as they have fairly clear upgrade paths however anything over 500 requires quite extensive work and totally different range of parts....so if this is your ultimate goal bear in mind when fitting and sourcing parts.
What do I think makes my car stand out? easy, you won't easily see a 200 SX fitted with a tilt-and-slide sunroof and body kit that was altered by me to my own spec.

The Work
The car was built in house by myself and rb specialist Nawawie Dienie....customizing cars is a hobby of mine that I've learned much about over this period of time...you can work on suspensions, exterior, interior or even the sound system....the products you can buy are endless....that doesn't even include what you can custom do yourself all I can say it cost money but at the end, you can turn heads
Future Plans
In the future a turbo upgrade will surely come with bigger injectors and running 2 fuel pumps with a methanol kit and the engine bay will be more tidied up as a proper show car
Shout Outs
Our group started out with 3 very close same like-minded friends....we named the group bad society (NOT YET A CLUB)and that is how our theme started of #bad influence #bad company and me as #bad habits we are now over 7 members...Ismail Mitchell was my biggest inspiration throughout this whole car scene if it wasn't for him I wouldn't even be here right now big shout out to him for always lifting us up and driving alongside us
The Scene
The car scene has brought me so many special friendships and relationships....you'll find yourself acquiring new aspirations as you see more cars go more places and meet more people....its the easiest way to enjoy spending time with those who appreciate the same hobby at the same level as you do....these people are some of the most genuine kind-hearted people I have ever met
Dream car
I drive a Nissan 200 sx fitted with a skyline rb 25 engine reason being, i just love the skyline gtr it would truly be a blessing if I ever get the chance to own one
