Molly Chislett -Bagged Ford Fiesta ST150
A couple of years down the line I had a Mini Cooper, this was a cheap car that I used as a runaround, didn't particularly like the look of it, it was just great fun to drive. I went to a car meet with some friends of a friend after lockdown back in 2020, one of which had an ST150

I am 21 and from Shropshire. I currently work for Arnold Clark as a Click and Collect and Sell Your Car representative, this is such a great job for a car enthusiast as it means you get to see a lot of different cars coming in and going out. In my spare time, I enjoy going on drives out with friends to meets or just on some fun roads. I also enjoy learning how to be able to complete simple maintenance on my cars such as an oil and filter change, I also did my first set of brake pads and discs recently too. I also play rounders for a local team that I have been with for 3 years now.
From a young age, cars have always made my head turn, even when I never really understood them, my mom always had sporty cars when I was younger including, Ford Puma and a Mini Cooper S which I really enjoyed. When I turned 16 I had already started saving for my first car and driving lessons so I could be on the road as soon as possible. While I was learning to drive my nan gifted me her old MK6 Fiesta 1.25 which she had bought brand new back in 2004, It was a great first car but 3 months after I passed my test I decided it was too slow, so I changed it up.
A couple of years down the line I had a Mini Cooper, this was a cheap car that I used as a runaround, didn't particularly like the look of it, it was just great fun to drive. I went to a car meet with some friends of a friend after lockdown back in 2020, one of which had an ST150. I had never really heard of them before but I instantly fell in love. Within a couple of weeks, I had my own and never looked back since.
The serious mods didn't start happening until I got with my Fiance Tom, being someone who had been in the car scene a while (and a mechanic) I couldn't have got a better teacher and I am so grateful, it is because of him that the car is where it is at today. While on this journey of getting the Fiesta how I dreamed of was when I met Nikki Prince @royal.touch.photography, not only is she an amazing photographer, but she is also a great friend that we have gained.
My car is unique because everything has been done by us, we haven't just gone to a garage and paid someone to do it, this makes me seriously proud and loves my car just a little bit more. There have been times when it was going up for sale though, but the hard work and the stress have all been worth it. Recently we decided that it was time that the fiesta gained some new wheels as I had a new interest in wanting to take it to shows.
I picked up my wheels and originally they were white, which personally I hated, we then decided on pink and it was definitely a case of trusting the process. Once I had my photos back from my shoot with Nikki I actually had a tear in my eye. I can't believe that's my car! There is a little bit of finishing off to do inside and outside of the car and then eventually will get round to engine swapping it, but that's a secret.

If you were looking to buy an ST150 or even just a MK6 Fiesta I would highly recommend it, they are such great cars, just check for rust, at the end of the day, it is a Ford. But mostly just enjoy it, Fiesta's get a lot of hate, but it's your car, ignore it, make it how you like, and if nobody else does, who cares it's your car. It makes you smile. There are a lot of groups out there now if you have any questions, I am personally a moderator of @ST150 Enthusiasts and @Feztards, there is always someone that will be able to answer your questions. By joining groups and going to local meets you can make a lot of friends too.
