Grant higgs 36 from Staffordshire.

I've always been into cars for as long as I can remember so when I passed my driving test I needed a family car due to having 3 kids, I opted for a vauxhall cavalier 2.0 8 valve which soon made way for a Vectra V6 estate full gsi spec.

We needed something bigger and more practical so we went for a zafira because of the birth of our 4th daughter.

We found and bought a 1.8 comfort as a family wagon and once the gearbox decided it had taken enough abuse.

I quickly did open heart surgery and fitted a full gsi engine and box taking it from 115bhp to 197bhp then with it being a turbo conversion it gave me more scope for more power, sadly this one met it's grim end so the only option was a zafira gsi, we found one with a blown head gasket. 

I paid for it to be dropped off, It benefited from the z20leh vxr engine to which I bolted on a k06 turbo with all the vxr injectors, air flow meter, it then got a large fmic solid boost pipes, vxr brake upgrade and full stainless exhaust, forged rods and had it mapped to get the best out of the mods it's currently running 330bhp but there's plans for a gt28-30 turbo it's been lowered on apex 40mm springs with a white line rear ARB, 

All stainless pipes were custom made by Craig Evans of raggy conversions highly recommended for any performance modification or custom fabrication. 

The car is always found on display with my car club vaux-web where we have a club trophy, voted for by the members on stand 

I'd love a lotus Carlton but as these are getting rarer I'd settle for a vxr8 Bathurst
