Ian Scooby Eccles - Subaru wrx 2ltr bug eye
I can't wait to place this new build into a few shows and meets and looking forward to maybe an end to covid rules to show off my new pride and joy. Hope this kinda helps and is what you're looking for.

Subaru wrx 2ltr Bug Eye
This has been built from a shell over the winter.
My original scooby was written off by a now ex friend. Obviously I was devasted when I lost my car, but my wife convinced me to get another and build it better than the last one, so we searched for a new car so we could recreate the perfect scooby. I have other good friends who were able to help out and start with a new build. It is fully stripped out wrx 2ltr. It has a vf35 turbo with pink injectors, had it mapped at TEG sport in Carnforth and its pushing 341bhp.
Some of the parts i have added new coilovers, new seats, new harnesses, OMG the list is endless. I have more money in it than it's worth but, it's mine and it's been made to my spec. I dont think it's all about how many horses she has under the bonnet, it's also about how she looks, drives and makes you feel if you're happy with it then I think that's all that matters.
With being a transport manager for an Irish haulage company, I have limited time to play out with the car so I was going to buy a newer model but decided to build from scratch to have a Subaru how I wanted it. A very good friend Alan Wyatt offered to build the shell to how I wanted and he set it in my driveway. With lockdown it took so much longer but it's now all road legal and a pleasure to drive.

I am an Admin of a local Subaru club, morecambe bay subaru club. We have regular meetups to have a get together a laugh and a joke. We then decided to show our cars off, so I got involved with going to local shows like Cleveleys car show and Blackpool car show. Even started to venture further afield up to Cumbria ect. I attend regular meets with extremebhp car clubs and get invited to be staff for them too. The car scene means a lot to me and my wife. We have made so many good friends and hope to make more as we venture further afield.
I’d like to dedicate this to my wife Lisa Eccles. She has a long term terminal illness, cystic fibrosis. We held a charity car meet last year and raised a fortune for cystic fibrosis. She loved the last Scooby but this one is her world as she has seen it been built from start to finish. I couldn’t have done it without her support.
Shout out to RCA-PHOTOGRAPHY for the awesome Photoshoot
