A Dream 50 Years in the Making: Aaron Navarro’s Liberty Walk Twin-Turbo C8
Some people discover cars as teens. Some stumble into the culture through friends, online media, or the first taste of racing adrenaline. But for Aaron Navarro, it all began standing beside his father’s ’70s Dodge Charger — a car that rumbled louder than life and pulled him into a world of tools, tuning, and mechanical curiosity long before he understood what any of it meant.
While other kids watched Saturday morning cartoons, Aaron watched carburetors getting dialed in and exhaust systems swapped in the family driveway. His mother could hardly see out the rearview mirror because the rear end was jacked sky-high. And little Aaron? He wasn’t bothered — he was hooked.
Decades later — after military service, raising a family, and nearly 40 years as a civil engineer — he finally built something for himself. And not just anything.
He built a Liberty Walk widebody, twin-turbo, hard-top convertible C8 Corvette destined for SEMA Central Hall.
A late start? Sure. But passion runs on its own clock.
The Man Behind the Machine: Who Is Aaron Navarro?
Living in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, Aaron owns a civil engineering firm that specializes in land development. Life was stable, family-focused, career-driven — but that itch to build never faded. Every vehicle he owned got modified, even when funds were tight.
His first big project?
A 1986 Nissan Hardbody with engine internals, wider wheels, lowering springs, a custom exhaust, and even a full convertible conversion.
But when the mid-engine C8 Corvette launched, everything clicked.
“The C8 checked every box I’d been waiting for. It was finally time to do something for myself.”
Ordering during the COVID era meant waiting. A long time — more than a year. But while delays piled up, so did the ideas.
What began as a potential marketing vehicle for his company evolved into something much more personal:
A reinvention. A statement. A lifelong dream coming to life.
Why the C8? Why This Extreme Build?
Simple: the mid-engine Corvette is one of the most capable modern American performance platforms ever produced, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with European exotica at a fraction of the cost.
But that wasn’t enough.
Aaron wanted something worthy of being his first Corvette — a tribute to the ones his uncle owned when Aaron was young, and a symbol of finally choosing himself after decades of choosing responsibility first.
So he didn’t hold back:
- Liberty Walk Widebody Kit
- Twin-Turbo System by Peitz Performance
- Air Lift Performance Air Suspension
- Ceika Big Brake Kit
- Rohana Signature Carbon Wheels
- Hard-Top Convertible platform
This wasn’t a build — it was a transformation.
What Makes Aaron’s C8 a True Unicorn?
Liberty Walk Widebody + Twin Turbo + Hard-Top Convertible
There are very few Liberty Walk widebody hard-top convertible C8s on earth. Even fewer run a twin-turbo setup. And fewer still have the level of refinement and execution that earns an indoor SEMA feature — let alone one in Central Hall.
This C8 isn’t rare.
It’s one-of-one energy.
It’s built to stand apart from every C8 in existence.

Who Built It? Small Circle Customs (Etters, PA)
Builder: Jay Boyd
IG: @smallcircle_customs | @feynlab
If you follow high-end Corvette builds, you know the name. Jay is a master craftsman, Feynlab-certified trainer, and the creator behind the notorious purple SEMA C8 known as Voodoo.
Aaron saw Voodoo on Instagram. One message led to another — and a two-year partnership formed.
Jay’s story is just as raw as the builds he creates. A lifelong insomniac, he spent late nights watching automotive videos to calm his mind, eventually turning the hobby into a full-time custom shop.
So when Aaron said, “Can you build a hard-top convertible version of Voodoo?”
Jay didn’t hesitate.
Two years later, the dream rolled into SEMA.
The SEMA Journey: Two Years, Endless Setbacks, One Central Hall Debut
Like every real SEMA story, success came with chaos.
The Liberty Walk kit arrived late.
The Ceika brake kit fought them every step of the way.
Bleeding C8 brakes turned into a two-day nightmare of air pockets and wasted fluid.
But they pushed.
They solved every issue.
And when the last bolt tightened, everything worked flawlessly.
Then came the shock:
What was supposed to be an outdoor SEMA showcase became an indoor Central Hall feature — an honor reserved for only the most elite builds.
As the C8 rolled under the bright lights, people stopped.
Phones went up.
Whispers followed.
It was a moment neither man will forget.

What’s Next?
With the SEMA showing complete, both Aaron and Jay are planning their next chapter.
Yes — the white C8 and Jay’s original purple Voodoo are for sale, making room for the next groundbreaking idea.
Aaron waited 50 years to build something for himself. Now that he has?
He’s not done dreaming.
Final Words from Aaron Navarro
“I’ve spent my whole life taking care of others, and finally I did something just for me. This build represents passion, patience, and the belief that it’s never too late to chase the dream you've had since childhood.”
