Performance Stats: A little more than 707
Corey Garland, a lifelong car enthusiast and Buffalo Bills fan, takes us on a journey through his love for automobiles and his incredible customized 2018 Widebody Dodge Challenger Hellcat. Corey's passion for cars began early, with his parents' Corvette rental business sparking a lifelong fascination. Growing up, stories of cruising down Highway 33 with his dad in a Corvette instilled a love for American muscle that continues to this day.
Making the Dream a Reality
The Dodge Challenger Hellcat captured Corey's heart from its debut. Though financial limitations existed initially, Corey set a clear goal and achieved it. However, a stock Hellcat wouldn't suffice. Corey's dedication to personalization meant putting his own unique spin on the car.
A Hellcat Transformed: Customization Showcase
The whine of the supercharger and the roar of the exhaust create a symphony that puts a smile on Corey's face every time he drives. But the magic goes beyond the sound. Instantaneous power delivery makes every ride exhilarating.
Here's a glimpse into Corey's personalized touches:
-
Performance Upgrades: RIPA Incognito lower pulley, JLT cold air intake, catch can, Gates belts.
-
Exterior Enhancements: OEM 2019 hood wrapped in Satin Black, OEM performance spoiler, stock exhaust with vibrant mid mufflers, dual 4-inch carbon exhaust tips, Eibach lowering springs, 5% tint with 45% windshield tint, staggered Forgiatto Classico wheels, smoked LED side markers, Hellcat puddle lights, and Bronze American Brothers Design badges.
The Garage Whisperer: DIY and Collaboration
The spirit of a true car enthusiast shines through Corey's DIY approach. He tackled most of the modifications himself, right in his own garage. However, for specific tasks, Corey credits Davis Automotive for the lowering springs and exhaust work, and Bellrings Automotive for their meticulous tire mounting that keeps his wheels pristine.
Future Plans For The Widebody Challenger Dodge Hellcat
The future remains unwritten for Corey's Hellcat. It's currently up for sale, but the decision isn't set in stone. If the right offer doesn't come along, a vinyl wrap and further performance upgrades could be on the horizon.
A Community of Passion: Shout-Outs
Corey expresses his gratitude to Pablo Colon of Fireblazin Media for his photography expertise, The Lab North America and 716 Mansion for fostering a vibrant car community, and of course, his car crew who share the joy of the open road.
The Ultimate Dream Machine
While the Hellcat holds a special place in Corey's heart, the dream car list isn't short. At the top sits a restored 1969 Chevy Camaro, powered by either a built and blown LS or a legendary LT5 engine.
