A Family of Car Lovers
My love for cars has been a lifelong passion, inherited from my family of car enthusiasts. We own several high-powered, top-performance Dodge and Chrysler builds. However, it's only recently that I've begun to transform my love and passion for cars into reality.
From Charger to Challenger: Pursuing the Need for Speed
I always wanted a sports car and initially purchased a Dodge Charger. However, my desire for more muscle on Texas highways led me to upgrade to a Challenger. Even then, my need for speed wasn't satisfied, prompting me to embark on a journey of modifications. I started by modifying the engine, beginning with a cam swap and upgrading numerous internal components. A performance tune helped extract maximum performance from the engine.
Visual Aesthetics: Standing Out from the Crowd
Simultaneously, I wanted my Challenger's appearance to be distinctive. I implemented a partial hood vinyl wrap, custom shift knob, custom wickerbill, and custom tire stickers, among other modifications.
The Ghost Rider Challenger: A Custom Vision Come to Life
My build is tailored to my vision and car theme: Ghost Rider. Here's a breakdown of the current modifications:
-
Engine: Stage 4 cam, triple pump fuel system, phase limiter lock out, MDS delete, E-85 and race gas tuned, long tube headers with high flow cats
-
Wheels and Tires: Aftermarket 22-inch LUXX wheels, custom tire stickers
-
Audio: Aftermarket Sony radio, DEF bounce 6 1/2" and 6x9" speakers, two 12-inch DEF bounce subs with Kicker Amp
-
Lighting: LED headlights, wheel lights, underglow lights
-
Aesthetics: Custom vinyl wrap hood, custom Ghost Rider skeleton skull shift knob, custom wickerbill
Future Plans: Elevating the Ghost Rider Theme
I have exciting plans for future additions to the build:
-
Full-body vinyl wrap
-
Supercharger installation
-
Airbag suspension system
-
Headliner with star effect
Conclusion: Embracing the Car Enthusiast Lifestyle
My journey from accountant to car enthusiast has been thrilling and rewarding. Through my custom Ghost Rider Challenger build and involvement in the car community, I've found a perfect outlet for my passion. As I continue to modify and improve my Challenger, I look forward to inspiring others and contributing to the vibrant car culture in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
