From the striking white backdrops to the sleek carpeting, Toyo Treadpass feels like an elite exhibit crafted purely for car lovers. Today, I had the rare chance to slip in before the crowds and get an up-close look at some of the most jaw-dropping builds. I even found time to wander over to the Honda Racing booth and witness the energy in the RTR drift pit. It was a day filled with adrenaline and inspiration.
Spotlight on a Dream Car: The Old School Skyline
In the midst of all the marvels at Toyo Treadpass, one car stood out as my absolute favorite—a stunning, old-school Nissan Skyline. Bathed in a deep green gloss, its paint gleamed as it soaked up the morning sunlight, and the meticulously tucked and chromed engine bay was pure art. Every element of this build was flawless.
With an aggressive wide-body kit and JDM wheels, the car had an aura that drew you in. Inside, it boasted a full leather interior and carbon fiber side mirrors that complemented its sleek aesthetic. This Skyline embodied everything I love about classic builds, making it my dream car.

Iconic Rides in the Toyo Treadpass Lineup
Of course, the Skyline was just one of many breathtaking cars on display. Toyo Treadpass offered an incredible lineup, including:
-
A pristine 240Z
-
An old-school Rolls Royce with unmatched elegance
-
The latest Supra A90 and BMW Z4
-
An eye-catching Corvette C8
-
A robust Nissan R33
-
A custom-chopped E30
-
A classic Honda CRX
-
BMW E36
-
Two wide-body Porsches, exuding raw power and style
Each of these builds was immaculate, from the paint and detailing to the Toyo tires wrapping their high-performance wheels. Engine bays across the board were tucked, chromed, and immaculately clean. Even as I recount these details, words don’t seem enough to capture the artistry of these cars. The best I can offer are pictures—but even those might fall short of doing these builds justice.
Honda Racing (HRC) Booth: The Thrill of Racing Excellence
After marveling at the Treadpass lineup, I made my way to the Honda Racing (HRC) booth, thrilled to see their impressive array of racing machines. HRC pulled out all the stops this year, bringing an incredible assortment of race cars to showcase. From off-road monsters to rally beasts, sleek F1 designs, street-ready builds, and hypercars, there was something here for every type of racing fan.
The mere sight of these machines got my pulse racing. Just standing near these powerful cars made me want to jump in and experience the sheer thrill of speed. HRC’s presence added an extra layer of excitement to SEMA, especially after they missed last year’s event. Seeing them back with this lineup was a highlight for sure.
RTR Drift Pit: Burnt Rubber and Unmatched Skill
No trip to SEMA would be complete without witnessing the RTR drift team in action. Vaughn Gittin Jr., James Deane, and Ben Hobson were all there, giving demos and even taking a few lucky attendees for ride-alongs. The atmosphere in the drift pit was intense—filled with the sound of roaring engines, the smell of burnt rubber, and clouds of smoke billowing from each tight turn.
There’s something undeniably thrilling about being close enough to feel the rubber particles hit your skin as the drivers drift around the barriers. Watching these pros control their cars with such precision was nothing short of amazing. Their skill, the way they hugged each other’s cars while maneuvering through complex turns, made for an unforgettable experience.
SEMA’s Grand Finale: Anticipation for the Last Day
With such an exhilarating third day at SEMA, it’s hard not to be excited about the final day. The crowds have been massive, filling every corner, from the car exhibits to the food vendors. As SEMA opens up to the public for the final day, Friday will be the chance for everyone to experience the event firsthand.
If you’ve ever dreamed of seeing these builds in person, Friday is your opportunity. I’m beyond stoked to share more of SEMA with you all as we wrap up this incredible experience. Stay tuned for tomorrow’s final update, and make sure to mark this event on your bucket list for the future!
