Meet Adrian Trevino, a 43-year-old oilfield worker from Alice, TX, and a devoted single dad to his 15-year-old daughter, Sophia. Their shared passion for cars and car shows has led them on an exciting journey in the automotive world. Sophia's dream car? A pink VW Beetle Turbo.
A Love Affair With Cars and The 2016 BMW M3
Adrian's love affair with cars dates back to his teenage years in the '90s, an era dominated by the lowrider craze. His first car, a 1968 Impala, set the stage for a lifelong fascination with various rides, from lowriders and trucks to imports. Despite having a dub style Tahoe featured in Street Scene Magazine, like many enthusiasts, it eventually became a project that stole away the joy of driving.
Fate Led To A BMW M3
Fast forward to the present, and Adrian finds himself behind the wheel of a 2016 BMW M3 in mineral grey. Originally eyeing a Mercedes CLS 63 AMG, fate led him to this M3 with only 25k original miles. A deal too good to pass up, and in March 2023, he made it his own.
A Rally Driver at Heart
Frequenting Texas Stock Rally cars and coffee events and car meets, Adrian wasted no time getting his hands dirty with modifications. The goal for his M3 was clear – a ride that could turn heads at shows yet remain enjoyable for daily drives.
Setting New Standards for The 2016 BMW M3
What sets the M3 apart for Adrian is its user-friendly platform for modifications. Most of the enhancements were done right in his garage, showcasing the DIY spirit of a true car enthusiast. While Meils's Automotive in Odessa, TX, handled the downpipes and exhaust, the rest was a labor of love by Adrian himself.
What is Hiding under the Hood of The 2016 BMW M3
Take a peek under the hood, and you'll find a meticulously detailed engine bay with carefully coordinated colors. The strategic use of blue and carbon fibre breaks up the monotony, giving the M3 a clean yet show-worthy aesthetic. The timeless look of the car earns compliments everywhere it goes, with many surprised to learn it's nearly a decade old.
