1993 Mazda RX7 - Steve Falasca

It just feels amazing owning and driving this car, every time I see it or walk away from it I always look back at it with a smile, like most believe the RX7 is a JDM Legend, I agree, it should be put in that category as they are one of the best cars made in the 90s.

I am married and a father of 3 children, in my spare time I enjoy doing all kinds of things with the family, travelling as much as we can, going to new places or doing new exciting things. I also enjoy anything gun-related, going out to meets and events, and hanging out with friends who are into cars like me.

I’ve loved cars since I was a child, I just remember being really young and always playing with hot wheels, micro machines and remote control cars. Basically any kind of toy car I could get my hands on. When it came to choosing a car it was simply because I believe it still looks better than most cars on the road and is a JDM Legend, the timeless looks it has, amazing body lines, and uniqueness being a rotary-powered vehicle.

Customising this car was my next step because I feel the RX7s look even better when they are modified properly than they do completely stock. Plus modifying any car, in general, is fun, I enjoy changing things on cars, to make them mine, my creation, the way I want it to stand out and look pleasing to me, surely this is why we all do it.

It just feels amazing owning and driving this car, every time I see it or walk away from it I always look back at it with a smile, like most believe the RX7 is a JDM Legend, I agree, it should be put in that category as they are one of the best cars made in the 90s.

I feel it is special because it is my creation, I don’t build my cars based on what like or what is popular or what is in style at the moment. All the parts and pieces I have added to build it are because I enjoy how they look or what they do, and because they suit me best, keep this in mind when you build yours, it's for you.

Advice/Tips

If you don’t know anything about Rotary engines, do your research, before you get into a rotary-powered car, these are not like the everyday engine in an everyday car, they have their own unique challenges, plus because they are becoming hard to come by make sure you check through everything before you put money down, brakes, body, all the usual things as parts can mount up in cost, the RX7 is an excellent JDM car but not for the faint-hearted to start off on if they don’t know what they're doing.

Shout Outs

SLUC (you know who you are)

The car scene is fun and exciting and I have met tons of people who I can call true friends, this is the greatest thing about this community we all belong to, the friendships and knowledge we all share with each other. Having a passion for something and being able to share that with others goes a long way

Dream Car

I have multiple dream cars lol, don’t we all, but if I could choose one I would go with a 992 GT2 RS
