I’m from North Carolina living in Texas. I’m currently working as a supervisor at the Army Hotels. I have my bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and hope to pursue law school in the future. My hobbies include cruising the town in my truck, taking road trips, hanging out at car/truck meets, I have an amazing time being with my car club (C3 Car Club-El Paso). I also have 2 wonderful sons who enjoy nice rides just as much as I do. 

What got you into Cars?

I’ve always loved trucks, I fell in love with lifted pickup trucks when I was in high school. With having 2 children, I had what I called my mom's car (Nissan Versa). I finally traded that in for my dream truck; a Dodge Ram. Purchased its stock and the first modification I did was a 6” lift with bigger tires and nice off-road rims. Getting into the car scene, I simply reached out to a fellow car/truck enthusiast on Instagram and he invited me out to hang with the car club he was in. Once I got a taste of the vibe of the car scene, I cannot see myself anywhere else. I love the atmosphere, the fun, the smell, the noise, the beauty of the vehicles just sets the mood for the day all the way into the nights. 

As previously stated, I had my moms car but that was mostly for my children. A safe, reliable vehicle that was good on gas and had room for car seats and backpacks. But you have a moment in life where you can choose something different, something you truly desire. I saw my chance and I took it and I have no regrets, and my boys love my truck too! 

Why this Vehicle?

Dodge Rams have a stance, a look, a way about them. The way they’re built from start to finish. The way they can be modified and still look just as amazing. They’re reliable, comfortable and simply look amazing. I have a yellow Ram; Sunflower, I fell in love when I saw the truck. She’s bright and in your face with the yellow colour. I am always a bold person, so it was a match made in heaven. 

Oh, I cannot tell you how many compliments I receive with my truck. I have taken road trips and people will ask to take pictures while I’m getting gas. It fills me with joy when the kid's point and wave and their faces light up when I pass by. I am humble about having my truck look the way she does, but it makes me smile big and I’m proud to be the owner of such an amazing build of a truck. It’s an indescribable feeling when someone compliments your hard work; the work and money you put in to make your vehicle stand out in its own way. 

What makes it unique?

I think what makes my truck unique is the theme I’ve attached to her. With her colours (yellow and black) I have turned her theme into sunflowers. She has sunflowers everywhere. I could say it’s partly the lift but it’s a basic 6” lift, to be honest. There also aren't too many trucks that look like mine, yellow and lifted. But the sunflowers make her unique and make her stand out among simply lifted trucks. 

Dream Car?

Besides having my dream pickup truck, my dream car is a 1968 Camaro. To own a classic vehicle would be amazing. Camaros always stand out; I love the way they look and the performance of them is superior to most other vehicles.
