I've been around the car and bike scene for many years now and seen a lot of changes. I'll skip all the details and get to this car.
I wasn't looking for this car, I've always liked the Mondeo ST'S and having had a mk2 and a mk3, I was after a mk4 with the 2.5 st lump but that was proving a bit hard, so I kept an eye out for a good focus, primarily a pearl white 2 doors. This proved a pain as well. So when a blue 4 door turned up it was not my first choice but with full history and low mileage it was hard to turn down and that's where it all begins.
My plan was to keep it standard, which worked out for a few months then the modding started. I've always done things my own way but chose a pretty standard route, to begin with. RS bonnet vents TRC low line kit and ended up with a very nice car. But I had plans to do it my own way. The wing was first, it's a heavily modded scooby item that's never been used on an ST, next came the front end, a moulded RS bumper. The intakes are bell mouths off Suzuki bike carbs, the front splitter is off a honda S2000, bonnet vents are now mustang.
The rear diffuser is from RS part and the lower part custom with a full length led fitted. The small brake light is another motorbike part of a Honda. Under the bonnet, it's all hydro dipped and a custom RS intake system. Wheels are RS 19s. Tuning wise I've kept it quite tame. Running Revo stage 2 at about 320 with all the supporting mods and a 3-inch turbo-back custom exhaust. As you can see there are bits off of everything but it's all combined to make something a bit unique that all works quite well together.
Interior standard for now
