Hi! My name is Oakley Way,

I'm a builder and I also ride BMX. When I’m not doing that I’m drifting or working on my car.

Follow me on Instagram @oakleywayyy

I got into the car scene because I have loved everything about cars ever since I was little, always grown up around them and I enjoy driving/working on them, I built up to this car after buying other cars, doing them up and then selling them on! Took a while but finally managed to save up and buy my dream car.

My first car was a Renault Clio 1.2 turbo.

I drive a Nissan Silvia s14a in a turquoise blue colour. I drive this because it has always been my dream car and it is perfect for drifting with plenty of power and rear-wheel drive. I have only reached 155 mph and hit the speed limiter, obviously on a private road only running 280 BHP at the moment, but looking to get 350 BHP soon. 0-60 in roughly 4 seconds.

In my eyes a car is never done, there’s always something to do to the car! I’m pretty happy with how the car is looking now, just maybe some more power. But I feel plenty for now when it comes around to doing it. I would put the Garrett GT2871R turbo bigger injectors and updated fuel pump which should show me around 350bhp.

I was pretty lucky with this car. It came up for the right money with a few bits that needed doing. So, in my ownership, I have replaced the clutch in the car, repaired and painted the bumpers and side skirts, fitted the spoiler and just little touches like spraying the rocker cover.

I follow mainly drift related pages etc such as @driftism on Instagram and watch monkey London on YouTube. I don't go to many shows, I usually go to just the local car meets around my area just to catch up with friends and look at cars I’m more interested in doing track days.

My next plan for me and the car now will just be more seat time to get as much practice in and maybe start competing in drifting. My current car is my dream car as I’ve always loved the jap cars.
