Where It All Started
I'm Víctor Florenciani, born in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. I moved to NYC when I was only two years old and spent my childhood years living in the Bronx. After high school, I moved to Arizona for a few years and now I'm relocated to Pennsylvania with my two beautiful daughters and wife. I work as a journeyman plumber for Union Plumber Local 1 in NYC.
Working on my dad's classic cars, I found a deep passion and love for cars that's still very much alive today. Because of Colin McRae driving for Team Subaru in the 90s and 2000s, I fell in love with rally and the Subaru brand. I still remember the day I saw the new 2005 WRX STI in the dealer showroom—love at first sight.
The Series.White: 1 of 500
In 2020, as a birthday gift, my wife and I decided to buy a new Series.White Subaru STI, number 1 of 500 made. This is a unique color code for 2020, making it truly special. Driving a Subaru is really unique with the boxer engine—the sounds are like nothing else, and it's one of the best-handling cars ever made.
The Build: Varis Widebody and More
As of 2026, the car has been equipped with a full Varis widebody kit that's been completely painted to match. I've added carbon fiber throughout—hood, trunk, wing, and rear diffuser. The car sits on Air Lift suspension, which lets me get that perfect stance for shows while still being practical for daily driving.
The interior still rocks the factory Recaro front seats, and I'm running 18x11" Volk TE37 Saga M-Spec wheels all around. For braking, I've upgraded to Brembo six-pot fronts and two-pot rears.
Engine and Performance
Under the hood, I've focused on proven upgrades:
- Mishimoto radiator and hoses for better cooling
- Grimmspeed front-mount intercooler
- Grimmspeed blow-off valve
- Grimmspeed intake
- IAG air-oil separator
- Grimmspeed engine dress-up kit
- Professional tune with Cobb Accessport
- Cobb axle-back exhaust
The Team Behind It
All the major work was done by Crownspeedlab in Queens, NY. They're a shop that specialises in JDM cars—everything from engine and suspension work to bodywork. They really know their stuff when it comes to builds like this.
What's Next
I'm planning a fully built engine and custom interior work. This car means a lot to me, and I want to keep pushing it further while maintaining that Series. White exclusivity.
Dream Car
My ultimate dream car? A 1970 Ford Mustang Fastback. There's something about that classic American muscle that speaks to me.
