Hi, I’m Jean-Pierre Momplé, or JP for short. I am the owner of Jtechmods, Car Wash Supreme car wash & detailing center, and have been a DJ for over 20 years. My passion for cars started when I was just 14 years old. My older brother had a friend with a modified Toyota Avante, and one day, he took us to Wingfield – an abandoned airstrip used as a drag strip back in 1995. That experience changed everything for me, and ever since, I have been completely obsessed with cars.

Today, I own both a B9 Audi RS5 and a B8.5 Audi S5. My love for Audi runs deep, and when choosing a car to modify, I wanted something unique. While many enthusiasts focus on the RS3, RS6, and RS7, I was drawn to the RS5's sleek two-door coupe design and its 2.9L twin-turbo engine. This motor was virtually unheard of in South Africa’s modification scene and even rare to modify worldwide, making it the perfect challenge.

This isn’t just any RS5; it’s a fully built powerhouse pushing 750HP and 975Nm of torque. The combination of a high-performance wrap, Airlift air suspension, and 21" Vossen wheels gives it an aggressive yet refined aesthetic. But it's not just about looks – this machine delivers blistering performance with a 2.6-second 0-100 km/h time and a 10.1-second quarter-mile run, all while maintaining full weight and air suspension.

Who Built It?

Every aspect of the engine and suspension work was carried out by Jtechmods. The only part we outsourced was the Inozetek wrap, which was completed by the experts at Iconic Customs. The result is a one-of-a-kind Audi RS5, built with performance and aesthetics in mind.

What’s Next for the RS5?

With this build, we've done everything we set out to do. The RS5 is exactly where I want it to be, so now it's time to enjoy the drive and turn heads wherever I go.
