My names Matt! I didn’t really ever have a background with cars growing up. Was always the obnoxious kid that went around making a name for myself. 

I used to hear people ripping down the streets of my town where it was 25 mph and always thought how cool the cars were or how loud they were just really gained my attention as well as the original hot wheels show Acceleracers!

I always loved Nissans the GTR R-35 is the one that really stands out to me over all the rest but I had to keep it reasonable. I would see all kinds of z platform cars done in all kinds of different ways and loved the look and style of them without really breaking the bank. That’s what really made me end up wanting a 350 then ended up getting a 370 when the time came!

What made me customize this car was I just always admired other z builds I used to see on Instagram and people drifting them! Wanted to really make it my own and try to do things that were a little bit different than usual. 

It’s really fun owning the car but if I didn’t take it out places and share it I don’t think I would like it as much. Not including the adults and nice comments it’s cool when a kid points out your car at a show and the family walks them up to it but reminds them to be careful but it’s not theirs.  Getting to let some of these kids get in the car and maybe air it out or rev it really makes some of their days. Owning the car is fun but giving someone else the experience of it makes it more worth having over the years. 

The things I have done to make the car unique and really my own are doing the white accents on the livery to add more aggression to the kit I run. I used a white aurora borealis from Tinybot so they all have a colour shift to all the white accents outside of the car. The front end of the car is 1 of 1 at the moment. Full honeycomb front bumper, hood, fenders, front lip and mirror overlays!

The Work

All the work was mainly done by all of my friends and me over the years! If it wasn't for the people who supported me throughout this build I wouldn’t have this car where it is now! 

Future Plans

Currently, I have a new build for the car in the works that from what I have seen hasn't been done before. !. Changing up some of the lighting features on the car as well. Possibly aero? We will see.

Advice/Tips

Going into the platform I would say you can either go all out and spend all your money and go crazy with the car or you can ball on a budget, the car really doesn't disappoint. So many people have them so it is hard to stand out. Don’t be discouraged if everyone calls it a trumpet. It is but don’t worry about it. Own it. That’s your trumpet.

The Car Scene

I enjoy hanging out with the homies and meeting all the new people all the time. Travelling with everyone is probably the best part. If it weren’t for car shows I wouldn’t travel half as much as I do and I wouldn’t know so many good friends. 

Dream Car

The dream car would probably have to be a Koenigsegg agera are in white and black with all the fun carbon bits.
